Since the first days of the full-scale invasion, our team has launched initiatives to strengthen Ukraine. Together, we face challenges, grow, and create global educational products that help people grow.

We Support Each Other — Because People Are Our Greatest Value

• Launched mental health programs: including lectures with psychologists, information hygiene experts, and Ukrainian history scholars.
• Equipped our Kyiv office with generators, Starlink, a bomb shelter, and supplies of water and food — everything needed to work and feel safe.
• Created a winter blackout guide to help our team stay warm at home.
• Introduced compensation programs for purchasing power stations and supporting women's winter stays abroad.
• Launched a winter relocation project, allowing our specialists to live and work in western Ukraine during the winter — together with partners and pets in comfort, warmth, internet, and stable communication.
• Implemented a compensation policy for teammates and their families affected by the war.

Headway Inc matches employees’ monthly donations to charitable foundations that support Ukraine.

In addition, we have a meaningful tradition of joining ongoing fundraising campaigns during team events and planning sessions.

We Take Our 100% Responsibility and Join Initiatives That Strengthen Various Areas of Support

• Supported the Future for Ukraine Foundation to help wounded Ukrainian soldiers recover after severe injuries. Together with the team, we donated ₴1,000,000 toward prosthetics and rehabilitation.
• Backed Ukrainian defenders with blood warmers and Stop The Bleed training sessions in partnership with Soloma Cats.
• Helped save over 30 lives through team blood donations and equipped frontline medics with first aid kits and blood preservation devices.
• Held a charitable team event for International Women’s Day and raised funds for the Her Support platform, which provides psychological assistance.
• Contributed to the reconstruction and urgent needs of Okhmatdyt after the destruction in July 2024.
• Partnered with SavEd to supply schoolchildren with power banks and supported the creation of educational space by Dobrodiy Club to ensure children can study under any circumstances.

Sharing Ukraine and Its Phenomenon of Freedom Through Ukrainian Books

We launched the Essence of Ukraine project to unveil Ukraine’s history, modern achievements, rich culture, and centuries-long fight for freedom through books written by Ukrainian authors.

The collection features 32 summaries, including works by Vakhtang Kipiani, Yevhen Klopotenko, Dmytro Kuleba, Andriy Shevchenko, and others, along with a selection of fiction. More than 20 of these books have been adapted into English and Spanish for the first time.

Essence of Ukraine is available in text and audio formats to Headway app users in over 170 countries. In Ukraine, the collection is available under the title "Незалежна: Сенси свободи" (Independent: The Essence of Freedom).

We Believe That Knowledge Is a Powerful Weapon

In the first months of the full-scale invasion, we united efforts across multiple Headway Inc teams to create a series of infographics on safety during wartime.

We also developed a special collection of four summaries about the background of russia’s full-scale invasion and its terrorist acts in Ukraine — War in Ukraine. What’s happening and why it matters. The goal is to raise global awareness about russia’s crimes against Ukraine and encourage international financial support.

We believe in the power of knowledge and want Ukrainians to have access to it under any circumstances. That’s why the full functionality of our apps — Headway, Impulse, and Nibble — is available free of charge for all users in Ukraine. It is our way of supporting those who continue to learn, grow, and build the future.
